NAVAIR’s Aircrew System program office (PMA-202) is planning to host a Virtual Industry day. The purpose of the PMA-202 Virtual Industry Day is to improve the understanding of Government requirements and industry capabilities, thereby allowing potential offers’ to judge whether or how they can satisfy PMA-202’s requirements, and enhancing PMA-202’s ability to obtain quality supplies and services, at reasonable prices, and increase efficiency in proposal preparation, proposal evaluation, negotiation, and contract award. This opportunity is open to all companies that have innovative ideas and mature, cost-conscious solutions that can assist in supporting the future effectiveness of the Joint Services Aircrew.

This announcement is for planning purposes only. This announcement does not constitute an Invitation for Bid (IFB), a Request for Proposal (RFP), a Request for Quote (RFQ) or an indication that the Government will contract for any of the items and/or services identified in response to this notice. No solicitation documents exist at this time. Participation in this Industry Day event is neither mandatory nor requisite to establishing future contractor participation in any potential future solicitations or contracts.

VIRTUAL INDUSTRY DAY EVENT

The Joint Services Aircrew Systems Virtual Industry Day Event will occur 15 August 2023 at 1300 EDT. The event is being coordinated by the PMA-202 Strategic Planning Team and the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. PMA-202 will provide an overview of the program’s technology needs and challenges.

Following the industry day event, presentations will be posted and then there will be opportunities for industry to submit white papers highlighting solutions that are directly relevant to enhancing the mission effectiveness of PMA-202 and the other services. White Paper evaluations identified as being of particular value may result in an opportunity to speak with Government Contracting Officers via a scheduled one-on-one, in accordance with FAR 15.201 and FAR part 10. The Government will not provide opportunities for in-person attendance. Attendance at Joint Services Aircrew Systems Virtual Industry Day Event August 2023, and any discussions/release of information is strictly voluntary. Government will not pay for any information provided or associated costs.

Questions regarding this event shall be submitted in writing by emailing Jennifer Milan, PMA-202 Strategic Lead, at jennifer.a.milan.civ@us.navy.mil with the subject line "Joint Services ACS Virtual Industry Day 2023 Question”. Questions shall NOT contain proprietary or classified information. Verbal questions will NOT be accepted. The Government will accept questions concerning this event until 1600 EST 11 August 2023. Questions received after this date may not be answered. Depending on the nature of the question, the Government may post the question and its answer on the beta.SAM.gov Contract Opportunities website or may answer the question during the Joint Services ACS Virtual Industry Day August 2023 live question and answer session on 15 August 2023. The Government reserves the right not to answer questions received.

Responses to this RFI will not be returned. The Government is only seeking possible sources and potential capabilities for informational purposes. No reimbursement will be made to respondents for any costs incurred in developing information for, participating in meetings with, or engaging in discussion with the Government in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests.
