The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis, for a one (1) year base plus four (4) one (1) year option periods to Data Innovations, LLC for Annual Software License and VISTA Interface providing instrument manager interface support and maintenance on Data Innovations equipment and software. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13. The Veterans Healthcare System of The Ozarks (VHSO) located in Fayetteville, Arkansas has a requirement for a contractor to provide technical support and maintenance of the laboratory interface system, including Data Innovations operating system, instrument specific interface program, interface equipment and network connectivity hardware, emergency service and software host connections necessary to complete all work associated with performing instrument manager interface support and maintenance on the Data Innovations equipment and software. Based on market research, and previous acquisition history, it has been determined that Data Innovations, LLC is the only vendor capable of providing all the required instrument manager interface support and maintenance on the Data Innovations equipment and software to include software and hardware upgrade services in accordance with original equipment manufacturer requirements. This notice is being distributed solely through the General Services Administrations website at https://sam.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 513210, Software Publishers. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
