This is a notice of intent to sole source an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to the West Virginia Military Support Services for lodging and support services for the WVARNG Camp Dawson Event Center, Training Support at Camp Dawson, Kingwood, WV. They are the only vendor to supply the amount of lodging, rooms for meetings for the WVARNG supporting military training. Vendor must be able to provide up to 600 rooms for the requirement within 5 mile radius of Camp Dawson, Kingwood, WV. This will be an award with a base year and 4 option years. PoP 7 Nov 2023 - 6 Nov 2028. this has been a sole source requirement for the past 10 years, contractually. In the past when units and other federal organizations required lodging they used a MIPR as the means to provide payment for billeting. The MIPR covers estimated amount of fees for the required lodging. Once the MIPR has been received a task order is completed from the IDIQ, allowing the unit/organization to reserve rooms for their event.
