Refuse Services for Kennedy Space Center

NASA/Kennedy Space Center (KSC) has a requirement for one month of refuse services with five 1-month options periods.

NASA/KSC intends to issue a sole source modification to the existing contract, 80KSC018C0023, for refuse services from Dorado Services Inc. The modification will be added onto the existing contract as a 1-month extension and five, 1-month option periods. NASA/KSC will execute this modification under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 due to only a single source being technically capable of providing continuation of services in such short notice until a new contract can be awarded.

The Government intends to acquire these commercial services using FAR Part 12.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Victoria Hargrave at victoria.c.hargrave@nasa.gov not later than 4:30 PM (Eastern) on August 23nd 2023. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
