The Indian Health Services (IHS) Division of Acquisition Policy hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price award to GEO Jobe GIS Consulting, LLC. This acquisition is for Software Licenses for enhanced security at granular levels for pulished map services

The proposed contract action is for services for which IHS intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-5(b)(4).

The basis of the sole source is that GEO Jobe GIS Consulting, LLC. is the only vendor capable of maintaining the existing data and software that will meet Government requirements and ensure continued IHS regulatory compliance.

This notice of intent is not a solicitation, requirement for proposal or a request for quote. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred by responding to this notice.
