THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services:

1. Title: Janitorial Services - Hospital Grade Housekeeping Cleaning, Non-Patient Care Areas
2. Tasks: The Contractor will provide aseptic housekeeping services, trash/cardboard removal, inspections and weekly walk throughs for all contracted areas including hallways, clinics, elevator areas, center cores, administrative offices, and other non-direct patient care areas. Cleaning services are required 7 days a week. Approximate square footage is 442,000.
3. Locations: Portland VA Medical Center (Various Buildings), 3710 SW US Veterans Hospital Road, Portland, OR 97239
4. NAICS Anticipated: 561720, Janitorial Services, $22M
5. Type of Contract Anticipated: FFP
6. Period of Performance Anticipated: 1 March 2024 to 28 February 2029 (Base + 4 Option Years); additionally, 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services for an additional six (6) months is anticipated.
7. Notes: Depending on the results of market research and socioeconomic set-aside decision, the appropriate limitation to subcontracting may be incorporated into resulting solicitation/contract.
