Special Notice Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Procurement The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 17, intends to award a
firm-fixed priced contract/order to ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES INC. for procurement of AutonoME. The projected awardee is an authorized service distributor of AutonoME. Contractors shall
provide: End-User features must include and be compatible with: Nurse call system (Responder 5) Television Bed Control Telephone Lights YouTube Netflix Zoom Kindle Games Health
educational videos & documents User video tutorials AAC/Speech generation Software must be compatible with the following alternative access methods for patients with paralysis: Voice
Switch Scanning Touch Head mouse Eye Gaze Required Features: Cloud based staff user portal Remote Log-in technical support Medical grade all-in-one Windows PC 16" Touchscreen Display WiFi
& Bluetooth capable Wall Mounted articulating arm Microphone input 2x switch input Nurse call interface POTS telephone interface 3x low voltage auxiliary relay interface Infrared out
interface 3-prong hospital grade AC power connector Combination gooseneck microphone & sip/puff input device The technical requirements are as follows: Advanced Environment control
(nurse call, bed control, lights, telephone, and television) Medical grade 16" touchscreen monitor; articulating wall mounted arm Command Center Unit JCT Box (type TBD) Dual
microphone/sip & puff device Work to be performed: Installation Remove and replace Environment control system (nurse call, bed control lights, telephone, and television) Remove and
replace JCT Box with new JCT Box Interface to television, nurse call, 110v power receptacle, telephone and low voltage light controller Contractor/Vendor will perform all work to remove
old components and replace with the new components Ensure all systems are tested and functioning as intended Dispose of all cardboard, plastic, and debris from content packaging Training
for super users and technical staff Conduct training for staff on basic setup, general use and technical troubleshooting; training will be scheduled with department leaders in Nursing,
SCI, and BioMed Remove hard drive from old system and provide to VA COR/VA BioMed before decommissioned equipment being removed from South Texas VA work site. Fill screw holes from old
system with filler paste (spackle) No refurbished or used equipment, Government will except only new equipment only 2-year limited warranty; unlimited remote technical support Ability to
perform annual maintenance to include at a minimum: -Update Windows OS -Clean system Registry -Visual inspection of all cables and connections -Functionality test for call light, bed
control, lights/blinds -Detailed service reports noting any damaged or defective parts -Replace any defective parts covered under warranty This notice is not to be considered a request
for quotations or proposals. A contract will not be awarded based on an offer received in response to this notice; however, all responsible sources may submit an authorized service letter
for ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES INC and a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, to matthew.lee5@va.gov, which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals or offers received will be
used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the government. If no affirmative written response is received within 4 days from the publication of this
notice, a contract/order will be issued to ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES INC. without any further notice. The proposed contract actions are for services, which the government intends to
negotiate with only one source. The anticipated statutory authorities permitting other than full and open competition for the requirement is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR
13.5. The proposed sole source procurement will be made by a pricing agreement with ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES INC.
