The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Johnson Controls Incorporated., to provide METASYS Johnson Control Building Automation Systems software and maintenance support to an existing METASYS Johnson Control Building Automation Systems at the Orlando Veterans Affairs Healthcare System. NCO 8 anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Priced purchase order with one (1) base period of twelve (12) months, and four (4) twelve (12) months option periods. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 8.405-6(b), item peculiar to one manufacture. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561210 Facilities Support Service, with a small business size standard of $47.0 Million. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if an entity believes it can provide METASYS Johnson Control software and maintenance, it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using the same products and services to the Contracting Officer within three (3) calendar days from the date this notice was posted. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement.
