This is only a Pre-Solicitation announcement for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8 will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for project titled 516-CSI-137 Design Build Prepare Site for installation of Mammography Equipment, located at the C.W. Bill Young Veterans Affairs Healthcare System.

This project is seeking professional design and construction services from a State of Florida Registered Contractor and Architect-Engineer (AE) Team Design Build (DB) Team to install new Hologic Selenia Dimensions Mammography Equipment. The pending Solicitation will have further details, the Statement of Work, specifications, tasks, and Appendices to reference.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541330 Engineering Services and the small business size standard is $25M. The RFP will be a total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside.

A RFP will be issued on the SAM.gov website on or about July 20, 2023, for construction project number 516-CSI-137 Design Build Prepare Site for installation of Mammography Equipment.

In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the magnitude of this construction project is between $500,000 and $1M. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract within 120 days from proposal receipt date.

This Pre-Solicitation notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission. No other information regarding scope, dates, etc. is available until issuance of the solicitation via SAM.gov Contract Opportunities. As authorized by FAR 5.102, solicitation dissemination is limited to electronic medium, and the VA will provide no hard copies.

The Solicitation, consisting of further details, events, site walks, RFP documents, specifications, drawings, and deadlines will be available for download at no charge via the SAM.gov website on or about July 20, 2023, with an RFP due date to be specified in the Solicitation.

All interested offers (prime contractors & sub-contractors) should register at SAM.gov, so other Contractors and Vendors are aware of your interest in participating in this procurement. An Offerors list is not maintained nor distributed by the Contracting Activity, as it is the Offerors responsibility to register on the SAM.gov website.

Offerors are responsible for obtaining all proposal documents, acknowledging any amendments, and should re-visit the SAM.gov website PERIODICALLY to check for any changes to the subject announcement or pending solicitation.

Prospective Contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://SAM.gov. Information Pages prior to submitting an offer shall have on file a current and complete VETS4212 report at http://www.dol.gov/vets/vets-100.html (if applicable).
