This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR 5.201. Defense Health Agency, Western Markets Contracting Division hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial, Firm-Fixed-Priced purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to DRAEGER, INC under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b); Only one source capable of meeting the Governments requirement. Acquisition of Commercial Items under FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisitions under FAR Part 13 apply.

The work will be performed at the Anesthesiology Department at Naval Medical Center, San Diego. The period of performance from 18 August 2023 to 17 August 2024. DRAEGER, INC will be tasked to provide equipment assessment and preventative maintenance services for the following anesthesiology machines:

-APOLLO; QTY 36
-FABIUS MRI w COSY 2.6; QTY 2
-Vapor 2000 – ISO; QTY 36
-Vapor 2000 – SEVO; QTY 38
-Zone A Travel; QTY 1

The applicable PSC is J065.
The applicable NAICS Code is 811210 and the size standard is $34.0 (million).

This is not a request for quotes. Any interested party that believes it is capable of meeting the requirement described herein may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis. Responses must be submitted in writing via email no later than 12:01 PM PDT on 15 Aug 2023. Telephone responses and requests will not be accepted. A determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
