Food Services Vendor:

The United States Penitentiary, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, is soliciting quotations under 15B20723Q00000007 to provide Subsistence and other food items. This package contains all the necessary information for submitting a quote. When submitting quotes, respondents should consider all information provided in the RFQ. Please carefully follow all instructions located in the solicitation package concerning the content, format, and submission of quotes.

Delivery limitations are provided per line item.

All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the System for Award Management database pursuant FAR 52.212-4. If you are not registered, please go to https://beta.sam.gov/ to complete the registration process. Respondents shall include their UEI number on the solicitation. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the SAM database prior to award by entering the potential contractor’s UEI number into the SAM database. Failure to complete the registration procedure as outline in this clause may result in elimination from consideration for the award.

  • Email the completed RFQ, 17a, 30 a, b& c on the SF-1449.
  • Quotations must be received no later than August 28, 2023 8:00am EST Quotes received after the deadline will be handled in accordance with FAR 52.212-1 (f).
  • Quote delivered pricing. (FOB Destination)
  • Orders under the SAT $10,000 will be paid via government purchase card, prices must reflect credit card prices.
  • If you are unable to deliver an item you were awarded, performance will be affected, and could hinder future awards.
  • Do not cross out specs and write in your own, specs must match what is on the quote sheet. Quotes will not be used if you change the specs.
  • Warehouse staff have the right to inspect and refuse all items, returned items will be at the vendor’s expense.

Vendors are required to notify the Food Service Administrators within one week of receiving an order if they will be late or unable to ship any of the items awarded. Voicemail messages are not sufficient. All non-perishable items must have a minimum of a 90 day shelf life from the date that the product is delivered to the institutional warehouse. This includes best by dates and expiration dates. The entire order must be delivered by October 16 , 2023. Any vendor who fails to deliver any awarded item(s) will receive an unfavorable past performance rating which may negatively affect future awards.
