PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) intends to award a sole source contract to Cummins, Inc. for preventive maintenance, repair, and software maintenance/upgrade services on Cummins emergency backup generators for the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System facilities in Little Rock and North Little Rock, Arkansas. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13.

This VA facility has a requirement for a contractor to provide all parts, labor, tools, materials, equipment, software, transportation, and supervision necessary to maintain and repair various Cummins generators located at each location. Based on market research it has been determined that Cummins, Inc. is the only vendor capable of providing all the required preventive maintenance, repair, and software maintenance/upgrade services.

This notice will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 238290, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance.

The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only emailed responses will be considered. Information received will be utilized solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is at the sole discretion of the Government.
