The 185th Air Refueling Wing (ARW) is currently seeking sources for a service requirement for a portable fuel mixer lease. This is not a solicitation announcement. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict 185th ARW to an ultimate acquisition approach. No contract will be awarded from this announcement and requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. This Sources Sought Notice is in support of market research being conducted by the 185th ARW to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling all requirements associated with portable fuel mixer lease service.

Requirement:

Provide a serviceable portable fuel mixer that is capable to mix FSII (Fuel Icing Inhibitor) in aviation fuels. The Fuel Mixer specifications requested should be:

• Number of additives: 3 standard, 4 optional.
• Injection Ratios: Three additives: (1) 0-1,500 PPM (2) 0-65 PPM Four additives: (1) 0-1,500 PPM (1) 0-275 PPM (2) 0-65 PPM.
• Minimum injection ratio: 10 PPM standard.
• Normal operating range: 100-1,000 GPM.
• Minimum product flow rates: 50 GPM.
• Product temperature: 40°F to +250°F.
• Maximum product line pressure: 125 PSI.
• Maximum hydrostatic pressure: 350 PSI.
• Product viscosities: to 10,000 SSU.
• Duty cycle: continuous.
• Fluid connections - product: 6” (15.24 cm) cam lock, additives: ¼” (.6 cm) NPT or ¾” (1.9 cm) NPT

Firms responding to this sources sought notice are also requested to provide the 185th ARW with capability statements, which need to include at a minimum:
