The Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Dugway Proving Ground (DPG) currently intends to award a contract for Meteorology Division Maintenance and Repair of Wind Profilers and Radar Equipment on a sole source basis, but is seeking vendors that may be able to perform this requirement in order to support a competitive procurement. Accordingly, the U.S. Government highly encourages all interested businesses (large and small) to respond to this sources sought notice. In addition, small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantage Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women-Owned Small Business concerns), must describe their identifying capabilities in meeting the requirements at a fair market price, i.e., information which may help support a set-aside.

To obtain the highest quality Wind Profiler and Radiometer Support Services for DPG and WSMR. The Government’s intention is to have the contractor provide PM visits to the DPG and WSMR MET systems (Wind Profilers and Radiometers). The PM’s are intended to keep an operating system in a state of acceptable repair and minimize the need for unscheduled repair visits. If unscheduled repairs are required, the Government may request a quote and approve repairs and associated costs to be charged against T&M CLINs.
