The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (Small Business Indian Firms or Small Business). This is a Request for Information only. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations.

The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service is conducting a market survey to help determine the availability of the following item/service:

NAICS Code: 562211 HAZARDOUS WASTE TREATMENT AND DISPOSAL

Description: The Contractor must provide the following service at Taos, NM 87571

Services are necessary to remove bio-hazardous, pharmaceutical and hazardous waste management and training support at the Taos/Picuris Health Center to meet Federal/State/Local/IHS regulations. The medical waste and sharps disposal will be picked up monthly, medication/pharmaceuticals and their components will be picked up quarterly, and hazardous waste disposal will be picked up bi-annually. Annual On-Site Blood Borne Pathogens/updates to the OSHA regulations and On-Demand Online training for various compliance items, and annual training for Pharmacy and Nursing staff on Pharmaceutical Waste Regulations. All licenses and certificates necessary for compliance with regulations must be current.
