This Request for Information (RFI) / Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. Network Contracting Office 9 is seeking potential sources for Parallel Bars and Training Stairs for the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center. This is not a solicitation or a request for proposal and shall not be construed as an obligation or commitment by the Government. Description of supplies/services Needed: Rehab Equipment Essential/significant physical, functional, or performance characteristics. Parallel Bars: Stainless steel preferred due to cleaning per infection control standards; wood breaks down and protective finish wears off due to heavy used Bariatric capacity Electronic controls for ease of adjustment for patients of varying sizes and patient care time Weight capacity up to 1000 lbs Dimensions 144 x 39.75 x 53.5 Training stairs: Stainless steel preferred due to cleaning per infection control standards; wood breaks down and protective finish wears off due to heavy used Dimensions 120 x 35 x 60 Weight capacity up to 800 lbs Slip resistant material The information above is intended to be descriptive, and not restrictive, to indicate the quality of equipment that will be satisfactory.
