The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity, Southeastern Markets Contracting Division intends to procure a firm fix price contract on a sole source basis from Abbott Laboratories Inc. (Abbott) 100 Abbott Park Rd Dept 943 Bldg. AP6C-3 North Chicago, IL 60064, for specialized technical training on Clinical Laboratory Analyzer System in support of Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. The training shall be provided in accordance with the performance work statement. Abbott’s Technical Application and Ancillary service and Technical Support team are the only authorized resources to provide training and services related to the Abbott’s clinical laboratory analyzer system that is currently used in the core laboratory.

The Government intends to award this contract to Abbott, provided that Abbott can establish that it is able to meet the requirements of all Sections of this solicitation and comply with the terms and conditions at a fair and reasonable price to the Government.

This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside.
