Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source to Fairbanks Morse, LLC (dba Fairbanks Morse Defense), for one (1) Jacket Water Pumps for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Graham Burke Pumping Plant.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineer, Memphis District, Contracting Branch, intends to issue a commercial service purchase order pursuant to the authority of FAR 19.8 on a sole source basis to Fairbanks Morse, LLC (dba Fairbanks Morse Defense). This procurement is to furnish one (1) Jacket Water Pump to the Graham Burke Pumping Plant.

Contractor will furnish one (1) Jacket Water pump, which is a critical component. The Fairbanks Morse Part Number is 16600637; Pump, circ.J.W.1 pump 9 ¼ IMP Pos #1, AR3 38D & TD8- 1/8 O.P.

The proposed action will be a Commercial Firm Fixed-Price Service type contract.

The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333618 with a Small Business size standard of 1,500 employees.

This action will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. This notice is posted for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested firms must identify their interest and provide documentation demonstrating their capability (include detailed technical information and other technical literature) demonstrating the ability to meet the above requirements by e-mailing Contract Specialist Ms. Alexandria Duckett at Alexandria.D.Duckett@usace.army.mil no later than 10:00 a.m. Central Time on May 26, 2023.

A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. If potential offerors choose to submit information, past performance and references regarding capability to perform these services must be provided along with the statement of capability. The Government will not award a contract based on the information received, nor reimburse participants for information they provide. Information provided is strictly voluntary. The Government reserves the right not to compete the proposed purchase order based on responses received to this notice. This item may be awarded without further notice.
