The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with PCB Piezotronics of North Carolina, Inc., d/b/a Endevco for the procurement of seven (7) accelerometer, simulators, P/N: 4830A, NSN: 4920-01-472-2397, to support the KC-130J Program.
The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1- Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration for award of any Department of Defense contract. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract. Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice via email no later than 6 June at 11:00 A.M. EDT to Mairen Flanagan at mairen.e.flanagan.civ@us.navy.mil.
