This is a pre-solicitation notice.

The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Crop Genetics and Breeding Research Unit located in Tifton, GA., has a requirement to Remodel Greenhouse in Bldg. 30. The work consists of but is not limited to: The Contractor will provide all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to remove and replace aging and/or damaged building infrastructure, components, and systems to bring the buildings functioning capacity back to service.

The contractor will provide a turn-key product to include, but not limited to, all materials as specified, the proper demolition as specified, and the installation of all material as specified in the Statement of Work. This project is located at the USDA-ARS, 133 Tobacco Road. Tifton, GA. 31793

USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Proposals for a firm fixed priced contract. The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0 M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions.

This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government anticipates issuing an RFP for this requirement on about June 02, 2023. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services.
