The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Aerolift, LLC (Cage Code 30974) for the procurement of hydraulic fittings, NSN: 4940-01-466-0271. The T-45 aircraft requires the identified hydraulic adapters to convert the custom/proprietary Brake Control Valve (BCV) ports to a ¼” male AN, 37-degree flare fitting on the other end of the adapter. The adapters will ensure the proper functioning of the BCV as it undergoes testing and periodic maintenance.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
