Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a Small Business AND certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://sam.gov).

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for but not limited to the following:

127EAW23Q0017- GAOA Big Tujunga Water System Repair project, Angeles National Forest, California.

This project provides for the equipment, labor, materials, services and permits necessary to perform work ordered by the Government, in compliance with its terms, specifications, drawings and provisions. The work will improve water quality and the operation of the Big Tujunga water system and include repairs to the two 10,000-gallon tanks’ exteriors, installation of an interior liner, installation of ladders, water level indicators, and float valves, and replacement of the existing valving and piping around the tank. The goal is for each tank to be drained and isolated independently since one currently floats on the other. The repairs will address safety concerns and allow for more efficient operation of the system.

Project Location: State of California, Angeles National Forest, Los Angeles County, California.

Solicitation Number 127EAW23Q0017 for this effort will be posted to SAM.gov (https://sam.gov) on or about June 1, 2023. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings, and other information necessary submit a proposal for this project.

The solicitation will include site visit information if one is deemed necessary.

Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is expected to be between $100,000 and $250,000.
