Office of the Legal Adviser Content Server update, patch deployment and problem resolution
Background
The Office of the Legal Adviser (L) generates an extremely large number of electronic records; these records can come from scanned paper documents, emails and attachments, documents that have been created from scratch for a particular purpose, and a variety of other sources. L uses the OpenText Content Server system on its classified and unclassified networks to store its electronic records. Content Server allows easy to use searches and extensive folder structures for retrieval and organization of the records.
Content Server, like any complex IT system, needs constant updates and patches applied, as we as periodic maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the system and to resolve problems and issues that can arise.

This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1).. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within fifteen (7) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
