The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD, intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) modification under N00019-21-C-0060 SES III. The anticipated modification is for the procurement of NRE to develop an MFAS, Special Test Equipment Tool Kit which will provide Field Service Representatives enhanced on-site troubleshooting capabilities, and one (1) proof of concept kit to demonstrate fleet effectivity. The Contractor shall develop and provide all recommended Tool-Kit utilization processes and procedures. The proof of concept MFAS Hardware Tool-Kit shall be fully operational and as production representative as feasible. The Contract award is anticipated for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2023 and the anticipated period of performance will be for 24 months.

This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NGSC is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, integrator, and producer of the MQ-4C Triton air vehicles and ground stations. Therefore, NGSC is the only source with the requisite knowledge of the Triton design, operation, and maintenance to successfully provide the necessary engineering, systems integration, and sustainment support. Unless otherwise stated herein, no formal request for proposal or additional written information is currently available.
