THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services:

1. Title: Network Cabling and Support
2. Tasks: The Contractor shall furnish all necessary parts, materials, labor, tools and equipment, and travel as necessary to provide Network Cabling Services 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year.. This can include, but not limited to:
3. Cabling Requirements:
   1. Standard copper horizontal cable installations include CAT6 4 pair cabling
   2. Pull and terminate Cat #6 data cabling to 568B Standard. These cables will be pulled, terminated, and tested.
   3. Install, move, add, change, and troubleshoot telephones and repair of inside wiring and telephones are required. The wiring consists of riser cables, Category 6,6E and 6A UTP, single and multi-mode fiber optic cable, racks, patch panels, and grounds
   4. Pull and terminate 50-micron fiber optic cabling with LC fiber connectors. These cables will be pulled, terminated, and tested.
   5. Work on Audio visual equipment not limited to Smart Boards, Projectors, TV’s, and Patient TV’s. Cable Television (CATV) and Close Circuit Television (CCTV) cabling.
   6. Work on Fax Lines including, but not limited to, troubleshooting, VOIP and analog cross connections using 66, 110, and krone cross connectors
   7. Troubleshoot and repair medication carts and all systems within the cart.
   8. Grounding and bonding
   9. Satellite Cabling.
   10. Troubleshoot and Install PA systems as well as any ancillary parts/fixtures conducive to proper operation of the equipment.
   11. Cable tray cable support devices and systems
   12. Conduit, place conduit of various sizes IAW with NEC code.
4. Locations: The work will primarily be at Mann Grandstaff VAMC (MGVAMC) Campus in Spokane, WA but may also include Wenatchee, CDA, Downtown Homeless, Spokane Valley Outreach, Plummer (Idaho) and additional bus sites.
5. NAICS Anticipated: 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, $19M
6. Type of Contract Anticipated: TBD
7. Period of Performance Anticipated: 1 August 2023 to 31 July 2028; additionally, 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services for an additional six (6) months is anticipated.
8. Notes: Depending on the results of market research and socioeconomic set-aside decision, the appropriate limitation to subcontracting may be incorporated into resulting solicitation/contract.
