Pre-Solicitation Notice: W912DR23Q0036 Quicklime for the Washington Aqueduct, Washington, DC

Requirement: Furnish all Washington Aqueduct’s Quicklime (calcium oxide) in accordance with these specifications. Quicklime is used at Washington Aqueduct’s two water treatment plants (WTPs), Dalecarlia WTP and McMillan WTP. Quicklime shall conform to the requirements of ANSI/AWWA Standard B501, latest revision, for Quicklime, except as modified or supplemented herein, and shall be certified to meet NSF/ANSI Standard 60.

Period of Performance: Period of Performance shall be for a period of five (5) years from date of award for a total of 60 months.

All deliveries of chemical shall be freight prepaid, F.O.B. to the following Government facility:

Washington Aqueduct Dalecarlia WTP 5900 MacArthur Blvd., N.W. Washington, D.C. 20016-2514

AND

Washington Aqueduct McMillan Water Treatment Plant 2500 First Street NW, Washington, D.C. 20001

Solicitation Information: The solicitation will be uploaded to the Procurement integrated Enterprise Environment website at https://piee.eb.mil on or about 12 May 2023. Once uploaded the solicitation will posted on for thirty (30) days.
