Veterans Affairs intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole source contract with Spacelabs Healthcare, LLC., a large business, located at 35301 SE Center Street, Snoqualmie, WA 98065 for
the purchase of telemetry monitoring units, parts and accessories, licensing, and installation for Syracuse VA Medical Center Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Ward 800 Irving Avenue Syracuse, NY
13210 This sole source determination is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The telemetry units
manufactured by Spacelabs Healthcare, LLC are the only units that can suffice this need as the SCI ward in Syracuse VAMC currently owns the same telemetry units and are adding on to their
inventory to increase patient monitoring capability. The purchase of different brand of patient telemetry monitoring system will result in having a duplicative system which is not in the
best interest of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339112 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. No solicitation
package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this
requirement. Interested vendors that can meet this requirement, should identify their interest and capability, and respond to this notice by 4:00 PM EST on May 08, 2023. Interested
vendors must send a capability statement, no more than one page in length; to include Company Name, UEI Number, Socioeconomic Category, brief description of your business entities
capability to provide these items. All information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be sent via email to the Contracting Officer. E-mail:
Myra.Green2@va.gov and will consider responses received by 4:00 PM EST on May 08, 2023. Facsimile or telephonic responses will not be accepted. Simply responding as an interested party
does not constitute your company as a source. Offeror must provide the above requested information. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon
responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive
procurement in the future.
