1. The proposed solicitation will be set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVOSB) Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 561612, Security Guards and Patrol Services, small business size standard $25.5M.

2. Description of items: One (1) security guard shall be stationed at, patrol and survey the area surrounding the Soldotna CBOC. The contractor shall provide unarmed and uniformed security guards that can be scheduled for daytime security duties, be available to respond to requests for assistance on an on-call basis and can patrol designated areas in and around the Clinic. The contractor shall provide coverage Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, even in the event of a sick call by a security officer. The Guard(s) will be on shift 45 hours per week.

3. Among other requirements which will be identified in solicitation, company must be submit a current Security Guard Agency License issued by the state of Alaska. https://dps.alaska.gov/statewide/r-i/permitslicensing/securityguard. The Agency License must be from the company submitting quote.

4. Period of performance. The period of performance is a base with four option years. 52.217-8 will be included for an additional six-month extension. Anticipated start date is approximately the first week of August 2023.

5. The anticipated issuance of the Request for Quote is the first week of May with an anticipated award date first week of June.

6. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
