Sources Sought The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Small Business Manufacturers, other Small Businesses interested and capable of providing items requested. The intended contract is a firm-fixed price contract. A SBA Non-Manufacturer Rule Waiver will not apply if this requirement is set-aside for small business. It does apply to all other socioeconomic small business categories. The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO20 is looking for BRAND NAME or EQUAL sources of the following: Robotic Arms- AccuVein AV500 QTY: 3 Salient Characteristics: Must be able to hold in your hand and small and lightweight to support rapid assessment Needs to capable for hands free and able to insert in a wheeled stand for assessment and cannula placement Required to work on all skin tones with uniform image Must be able to have no skin contact and simply hold above the area being assessed Needs to be highly accurate and permanently aligned with no calibration required Laser generated imagine requires to be eye-safe under all operating conditions Movement tolerant: high-speed image processing delivers real-time image regardless of patient and clinician movement Must be new equipment only and all items must be covered by manufacturer s warranty.
