Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for engineering services and technical support for the Gun Bay Power Supply Weapons Replaceable Assembly (WRA-9), the Gun Bay Power Supply subassemblies Shop Replaceable Assemby (SRA PS1 and SRA PS2), the Electronic Support Measures (ESM) Power Supply (WRA-1), the Low Voltage Power Supply (LVPS), the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU), and other power supplies/units used in the electronic attack systems utilized by the EA-18G, P-8A, and ALQ-99.

The proposed contract action is for the supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Crane Electronics, Inc., 84 Hill Ave NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). This is being sole sourced because award to any other contractor would result in substantial duplication of costs and unacceptable delays in fulfilling agency requirements. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
