SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Description This Sources Sought Notice is issued to identify and determine the level of interest among both Large and Small businesses including qualified VetCert (Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov)) registered Service Disabled and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SD/VOSB). Responses will assist VA planners in determining an appropriate acquisition approach and/or set-aside strategy which meets procurement regulations. This Request for Information Sources Sought Notice is looking for sources for the products described below: The Battle Creek VA Medical Center (Battle Creek, MI) has a requirement for the following or comparable solution: 91 (Qty) bariatric hospital beds with air mattresses (e.g. Stryker MV3 bariatric beds or comparable) with installation and unlimited repairs/support. The bariatric beds shall meet the following characteristics: 1100 lb. Safe Working Load Low Height Bed Frame of 12" 38.2 bed width with siderails stowed is required to fit through all doorways Variable Bed Deck Widths: 36 W (expandable to 36 , 42 or 48 ) Cardiac Chair Position Integrated foot end staff control with patient lock-out Total lock and steer lock casters for easy movement at any height. Side rails rotate down for patient access Integrated scale for one-button weighing in any position Must have a trapeze attached Bed monitors safe bed positions (30HOB, Siderail Positions, Low Height, Brake, Bed Exit Alarm) Must be able to be utilized as a low bed regardless of width.
