NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE:

FAR Authority permitting other than full and open competition for procurement of these services is 10. U.S.C. §2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) (iii).

The Government intends to solicit only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to this solicitation by submitting an offer, however, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Any offers received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT:

RH Propulsion Hub & Coupling for Dredge Wheeler

336611 - Ship Building and Repairing

J020 - Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment- Ship and Marine Equipment

Complete disassembly and inspection of a used hub and the coupling to determine all necessary repairs and a written inspection report along with all recommended repairs and proposed quote to perform these repairs.
