This pre-solicitation notice provides notice of the Governments intent to issue a solicitation for installation of hybrid solar powered generator at the Birendra Peace Operations Training Centre (BPOTC) in Panchkhal, Nepal. The sources sought notice was 19AQMM23N0017.
Place of performance: Construction Services will be performed at the selected site in the BPOTC is approximately 45 km and 100-150 minutes east of Kathmandu. The grid coordinates are 27°6537.5"N 85°6310.8"E and it lies 942 meters above mean sea level.
Period of Performance: 12 months from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed
Order of Magnitude: $500,000.00 - $1,000,000.00 IAW FAR 36.204(e)
Competition Procedures: Full and Open (unrestricted).
Basis of Award: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA)
Contract Type: Firm-Fixed-Price
The approximate acquisition schedule is as follows: The synopsis will be posted for at least fifteen (15) days. On or about March 21, 2023, the Government plans to post the solicitation on http://sam.gov. No paper copies will be mailed. Once posted, offerors will have approximately fourty-five (45) days to submit proposals. All dates are subject to change.
The Question and Answer (Q&A) period opens with the posting of the solicitation and ends on the date specified in Section L of the solicitation. All announcements and amendments made to the solicitation will be posted to http://sam.gov. Only emails following the Q&A instructions in Section L of the solicitation will be accepted. No other emails or phone calls will be accepted.
Offerors shall be knowledgeable in written and spoken English and possess all appropriate permits and licenses to perform the required work in Colombia. Offerors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award.
