Pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), intends to issue a sole source award to Dickes & Wood Consulting, LLC, 17424 W. Grand Parkway, Suite 421, Sugar Land, Texas 77479 for the acquisition of Well Logging Technology Training. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations.
The anticipated period of performance is a base period of 12 months and four one-year option periods.
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is: 541990 – All Other
Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services with a size standard of $17.0 Million.
OBJECTIVE:
The objective of this contract is to obtain well logging training to NRC staff and Agreement State inspectors. The training course shall be focused on the technical aspects of the well logging industry including the uses of byproduct material and radiation producing devices that are licensed by the NRC and Agreement State regulatory programs, including sealed sources, radioactive tracers, radioactive markers, and uranium sinker bars.
The training course shall be presented as traditional, onsite instructor-led training (ILT) (i.e., delivery in-person in a classroom) with at least one on-site tour of relevant well-logging facilities to familiarize the students with the layout, equipment, and activities (especially those associated with radioactive material and/or radiation producing device usage) at a typical well logging site.
This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposal NOR a solicitation of offers; However, if any party believes they can meet the above requirements, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain material in sufficient detail to allow the government to determine if the party can perform all of the requirements.
A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All interested parties must express their interest and capabilities in writing and submitted via FedConnect no later than 4:00 P.M. on February 17, 2022.
