The Department of Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) No. N66001-23-R-0017 to provide support for Global Networking Systems Tactical Computing Cloud Infrastructure Branch (Code 551) requirements that include design, engineering, procurement, fabrication, integration, test and evaluation, and supply for the AN/USQ-82 Data Multiplex Systems (DMS). To meet these overall mission responsibilities, support is required for evaluating, manufacturing, integrating, upgrading, and testing hardware and software components for the AN/USQ-82 family of systems (xDMS)
It is anticipated that the procurement will result in the award of a single indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contracts (IDIQ) with cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF) and cost-only (no fee) pricing arrangements. The anticipated period of performance is a two-year base period and one, three-year option period. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334290, Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing with a Size Standard of 750 employees. The nature of this tasking requires access up to Secret data, information, and spaces.
This requirement will be competed as a total small business set-aside. This is a follow-on requirement to contract N66001-18-D-0013. NIWC Pacific anticipates the final RFP (N66001-23-R-0017) will be released around 26 January 2023. The RFP will be released electronically via NAVWAR e-Commerce website.
