This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine the interest and capability of Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), and other small businesses able to meet the requirements listed below. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Regional Procurement Office Central, Network Contracting Office 10 is seeking sources to provide one (1) John Deere 3039R compact utility tractor and 366 front mounted blade for the Battle Creek VA Medical Center located at 5500 Armstrong Road, Battle Creek, MI 49037. The tractor must be new (2022-2023 model) and will be outfitted with specific options and accessories, therefore most likely this will be a custom order. Other brands/models of tractors will not be accepted. Contractors that are interested in meeting this requirement are asked to provide a response via the email listed below. Please submit proof, such as a verification letter, that you are an authorized distributor or reseller of John Deere tractors. Additional information: All contractors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov. Any contractor that believes they are capable and desires to claim preference for small business status must be registered with the SBA and meet the requirements of FAR 19.102. Any contractor that believes they are capable and desires to claim preference for SDVOSB or VOSB status must be registered with the SBA Veteran Small Business Certification Program (VetCert).
