Description

Burnley Borough Council are planning to commence the procurement of waste and recycling collections and street cleansing service in early 2025. The current contract is due to end in March 2026 and the procurement will be aiming to achieve mobilisation and service commencement under a new contract from April 2026. The Council will advertise the opportunity at the appropriate time on the Find a Tender Service and Contracts Finder services.

The primary scope of works for the contract will include:
waste & recycling collections including food waste, chargeable garden waste, clinical waste, bulky waste, and commercial waste; and street cleansing.
