Wrexham Council are exploring opportunities for the future transformation of care and support services offered by the Council. We are inviting expression of interest for undertaking a feasibility study aimed at assessing the viability and potential development of a Local Authority Owned adult care home facility in Wrexham.

This final report will need to present recommendations and a cost/benefit analysis of each.

Scope of Work

• Evidence and evaluate the current regulatory requirements and impact of these on establishing a new adult care home.

• Advise on the requirements of the proposed facility including size, types of support to be made available.

• Evidence of innovative approaches that could be considered, through research and review of other similar schemes around the UK

• Complete a comprehensive cost benefit analysis of recommendations.

• Final report presenting recommendations based on the findings of the study.

Timeline

This work is expected take no longer than three months from commencement of the contract award.
