II.2.4) Description of the procurement

The objective of this Prior Information Notice is to obtain up-to-date information from the market in order to:

(1) Understand current and, in development, market capabilities and solutions in relation to the functionality requirement.

(2) Provide the University of Edinburgh with indicative costs associated with the implementation and ongoing support of a suitable solution.

At this stage it is envisaged that we will require a Sports and Exercise Platform with a focus on a single integrated self-service solution for Sport & Exercise members, incorporating at a minimum:

- Account management.

- Membership purchase.

- Booking classes, activities and courses.

- Access control.

- Point of sale.

- Reporting and administration.

II.2.14) Additional information

A document has been attached to this notice. Please read and follow the pre-tender market engagement instructions.

It is anticipated that the University of Edinburgh will go to the market mid-late 2024 for this requirement.
