Haulage and treatment of approximately 7,000 tonnes of garden waste per annum from 3 off Monmouthshire Household Waste Recycling Centres plus kerbside collected garden waste from residential properties. Approximately 5,000 tonnes of garden waste per annum for Torfaen. It is envisaged that the material will be composted through an ‘Open Windrow’ process in accordance with the PAS-100 Quality Protocol. The authority is looking for suitable delivery point(s) and/or processing facility within the County of Monmouthshire able to accept both bulked loads from 2 Waste Transfer Stations as well as material directly from Refuse Collection Vehicles (RCVs) if required.
