Description

The Commissioner is seeking the views of Healthcare Providers in relation to the provision of a Primary Care Hub at Brighton Station Health Centre. The Commissioner is considering a contract period of between five and nine years, this remains subject to finalisation.

Important: The Primary Care Hub comprises two distinct elements, each with its own specification: 1) The GP List, and 2) Walk-in service. Our aim is to present these components as a single combined lot in the tender, to achieve economies of scale for the provider, and oversight and supervision for the walk-in service by the APMS registered list clinicians.

The contractor will provide Primary Care services to those patients registered with the Brighton Station Health Centre in accordance with the APMS contract 2023/24, with annual contract variations as published by NHS England.

In addition to the registered list of patients, the Brighton Station walk-in service aims to offer effective and rapid primary care access to a range of patients who present to the premises in need of urgent primary care services. This will be provided in a timely way to reduce the need to access Urgent Treatment Centre and Emergency Departments, between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00, seven days a week.
