National Highways are proposing to put in place a new framework that will continue to deliver the Concrete Roads Programme comprising the following lots:

1) Lifecycle Extension Works (LEW) to deliver design and construction Work Orders focused on extending the life of the existing concrete pavement;

2) Minor Capital Intervention (MCI) to deliver construction only Work Orders;

3) Professional Services to deliver:
- designer/ supervisor/ project manager/ technical assurance services to support the programme
- support to centre of excellence function to deliver research and development activities.

National Highways intends to hold a market engagement event on 8 November 2023 to share details of the Legacy Concrete Pavement framework procurement. The event has been provisionally booked from 09:30 with an allocated time of three hours delivered via Microsoft Teams.

Suppliers are invited to express their interest by sending an email with their contact details of their proposed attendees to LegacyConcreteRoads@nationalhighways.co.uk no later than 31 October 2023.
