Abstract:	CONTRACT AWARD NOTICE This is a notice that the contract has been awarded TfW are looking to appoint a suitable contractor to undertake the works described below: Location - Area 1 – Waltwood Hill Mitigation Planting Area Works Required – Area 1 - Replace dead/diseased trees – to be advised by TfW Ecologist - Remove dead/diseased trees and dispose of off site or use prunings to create habitat piles where appropriate - Cutting of grassland throughout plantation area, Cutting as per specification including any removal of cuttings. - Application of herbicide around planted trees as per specification - Injurious weed control (thistles and dock) Location 2 – Area 2 – Llanwern Woodland Planting Area Works required – Area 2 - Replace dead/diseased trees – to be advised by TfW Ecologist - Remove dead/diseased trees and dispose of off site or use prunings to create habitat piles where appropriate - Cutting of grassland/vegetation throughout plantation areas, cutting as per specification including any removal of cuttings - Application of herbicide around planted trees as per specification - Injurious/Invasive weed treatment (Himalayan Balsam) Further information can be found in the tender documents

CONTRACT AWARD NOTICE

TfW are looking to appoint a suitable contractor to undertake the works described below:

Location - Area 1 – Waltwood Hill Mitigation Planting Area

Works Required – Area 1

- Replace dead/diseased trees – to be advised by TfW Ecologist

- Remove dead/diseased trees and dispose of off site or use prunings to create habitat piles where appropriate

- Cutting of grassland throughout plantation area, Cutting as per specification including any removal of cuttings.

- Application of herbicide around planted trees as per specification

- Injurious weed control (thistles and dock)

Location 2 – Area 2 – Llanwern Woodland Planting Area
