The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.The Council’s needs and requirements for the Contract are included in the procurement documentation. It should be noted that the Council is under significant financial pressure and is facing an affordability challenge for this contract. As such, this procurement process is seeking innovative proposals to aid the Council in lowering the contract price whilst seeking to maintain a good quality standard for residents.

TUPE is likely to apply to this procurement.
