Contract for Elba Sports Complex – Pitch Resurfacing

Description of the goods or services required

The City and County of Swansea are to implement the refurbishment of an artificial turf pitch at ELBA Sports Complex, Ffordd Beck, Gowerton, Swansea, SA4 3GE.

The work will be undertaken on an existing sand filled pitch. The works will include but not be limited to:

Removal and off-site disposal of existing carpet

Removal and off-site disposal of existing in-situ shockpad

Cleaning of exposed porous macadam

Supply and installation of new in-situ shockpad

Supply and installation of new synthetic carpet

Install pitch and court markings.

Key Stage Inspection by FIH accredited test house

Field testing by FIH accredited test house

The proposed works shall be designed and constructed to satisfy the construction tolerances and performance requirements of the FIH National Class – FiH Category 3 Standard.

— This will move the ITT into your “My ITTs” page (this is a secure area reserved for your projects only).

— Click on the ITT code. You can now access any attachments by clicking the “Settings and Buyer Attachments” in the “Actions” box.

3. Responding to the invitation to tender:

— You can now choose to “Reply” or “Reject” (please give a reason if rejecting).

— You can now use the “Messages” function to communicate with the buyer and seek any clarification.

— Note the deadline for completion, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the ITT.
