The Vale of Glamorgan Council (‘the Council’) wishes to appoint suitably qualified consultants to prepare a Strategic Transport Assessment (“the Services”) to inform the evidence base for its Replacement Local Development Plan 2021 – 2036 (RLDP).

A. Set out current transport policy at the national, regional and local level and how this will inform the methodology for any Strategic Transport Assessment. This will include consideration of Planning Policy Wales, Technical Advice Note (TAN) 18: Transport, Future Wales: The National Plan 2040, Llwybr Newydd: The Wales Transport Strategy 2021, the adopted Vale of Glamorgan Local Development Plan 2011-2026 and any other documents considered to be relevant.
