This is a great opportunity to work with us to support our work in early childhood development in Nottingham. SSBC are inviting tenders for organisations that have • Demonstrable skills knowledge and expertise in proposed evaluation approaches in community settings including proportionate use of counterfactual methods • Enthusiasm and passion for early years • Demonstratable capacity to deliver evaluations on time, on budget and to the required standard, with proven ability to flex resource capabilities and adapt to changing environments where required • Appropriate project management, risk management and quality assurance expertise • Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, including parents • Strong communication skills. • Knowledge of early nutrition and early healthy lifestyle initiatives • Knowledge of parent and infant relationship initiatives • Understanding of the Nottingham City context and the wider partnership that SSBC operates in • Knowledge and awareness of behaviour change theory and practice To evaluate two of its commissioned services - Healthy Little Minds (Parent Infant Relationship Service) • Healthy Little Minds aims o To improve social and emotional outcomes for children o To lay the foundations to support children to build positive relationships, understand their emotions and increase resilience o To raise awareness amongst the public and children"s services" workforce professionals to recognise the importance of supporting all parent infant relationships • Healthy Little Minds offers evidence-based programmes to families from 20 weeks of pregnancy to 2 years. o New-born Behavioural Observations o Baby Massage o Solihull basics, parenting groups and neo-natal plus o Going Mellow/ Mellow Bumps o Video Interactive Guidance (VIG) • Healthy Little Minds also provides specialised support where there are difficulties in the parent-infant relationship. Healthy Lifestyles Pathway • The service offers a care programme to promote healthy lifestyle choices and prevent childhood obesity and poor health outcomes. • The service works holistically with families; helping them to set achievable goals around healthier lifestyles by offering a variety of one-to-one and group activities to help families achieve these goals. |
