NHS Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (the commissioner) intends to undertake a procurement process for a Rough Sleeper Mental Health Service. The service is for individuals referred by West Kent and Medway Rough Sleeper Initiative (RSI) outreach services who are sleeping rough or insecurely accommodated and who generally will not engage in formal health care pathways. The service will include providing assertive clinical assessment and interventions to individuals who generally will not engage in formal health care processes, working in non-health care settings with a range of partners, including people who have had experience of homelessness and can provide peer support.
