Careers Wales are seeking to appoint a secure storage and distribution facility for

our promotional material and printed stock.

The contract will be for the duration of 3 years.

Value of contract: £0 - £100,000 over the 3 years

1. Tenders for this work can be submitted in Welsh

2. Tenders submitted in Welsh will not be treated less favourably than those submitted in English.

3. The closing dates for the Tender will be the same for those submitted in Welsh and English

4. The timetable for responding to the bids in Welsh will be the same as those submitted in English.

Careers Wales are seeking to appoint a secure storage and distribution facility for

our promotional material and printed stock.

The contract will be for the duration of 3 years

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd (CCDG) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the

Welsh Government trading as Gyrfa Cymru Careers Wales, we are contracted to

provide all age, independent and impartial careers information, advice and

guidance service for Wales. We help people understand the changing jobs

market and to acquire new skills to take full advantage of the opportunities open

to them. We provide access to high quality information and online resources to

enable people to make informed and confident decisions. Our work helps to

develop the nation’s skills base and to support the effectiveness of expenditure

on education and training, thereby contributing to the economic and social wellbeing of Wales.

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

Current product lines include but are not limited to the following:

Current product lines include a range of large and small items. Bulkier items

include marquees, chairs, tables and exhibition panels and stock levels are

minimal, smaller items include giveaway items such as pens, paper bags and

leaflets are generally high e.g 10,000 pens

We currently have 51 pallets.

Storage:

• Storage of stock – a mix of promotional material and printed stock. (we

currently have 51 pallets but this number may fluctuate)

• Receive delivery of a range of stock items in various amounts throughout

the year. This could be to replenish existing items as well as adding new

items.

• We will need notification of all deliveries/amount and supplier details

before any delivery is accepted.

• New deliveries to be recorded and added to the stock inventory, ensuring

that we have up to date info on stock levels.

Distribution:

• An online stock portal which provides full details of all items in stock

including name/reference/amount and image.

• Access to online portal for at least 5 people.

• Via the stock portal – we will require the ability to order any stock items

and get them delivered to a desired destination. This would generally be a

Careers Wales centre, a employee’s home address or directly to an event

(all within Wales).

• A range of delivery options including courier for next day delivery and

larger items or standard Royal Mail.

Billing:

Consolidate storage cost and all orders per month and bill to a central point
