Description of the goods or services required

The Authority on behalf of themselves and the Police and Crime Commissioner for Dyfed Powys are looking to appoint local roofing contractors to carry out repairs and replacement on fire and police station properties across the whole Mid and West Wales portfolio.

This will be a Framework and will consist of 6 Regional Lots covering our Service area as follows:

Lot 1 Carmarthenshire

Lot 2 Pembrokeshire

Lot 3 Ceredigion

Lot 4 Powys

Lot 5 Neath Port Talbot

Lot 6 Swansea

Please note that suppliers will only be able to bid for a maximum of 2 Lots from the 6 lots available.

The top 5 scoring suppliers will be awarded to each Lot, and they will be ranked in order of the scores they receive as part of the tender evaluation. If there are tied scores then more than 5 suppliers may be appointed to each Lot. The number 1 ranked supplier will be approached initially for any work that arises during the term of the framework. However, if the number 1 supplier is unable to carry out the work due to conflicting commitments at the time, then the number 2 ranked supplier will be approached and if they are unable to carry out the work then the number 3 ranked supplier will be approached and so on.
